I will not be playing in anymore events, nor will I be posting in anymore freeroll threads. They win, I quit trying. I can't take it anymore.
This is not a joke post and would love some support

Only the 4 green though, right? The rest either require a buy-in, or signing up through a banner.

I agree, I was actually considering posting in the feedback forum about how many useless threads pop up when freerolls are happening.

Can I suggest that a new section is added specifically for Freerolls. The freetrollers can then post all their crap without disrupting all the other parts of the forum , maybe have Flomo as a considerate moderator lol.Even let them have a pseudo post count so that they think they are being productive, but their true post count will only be gained on the strategy parts of the forum. |

Why have freerolls at all. You're not attracting the kind of members you want anyhow, or getting posts you actually want to read. The $3-5 buyins with money added are fine.

I don't want to bump heads with the roid-rage guy again. However, if a forum owner is trying to attract new members. This is a great way to do it. Sure it's hard for mods and admin to keep track of all the crap. But, it is what it is. We all know the retention is low for the members that jump in and just want a password. But, if you want new traffic. You have to do these sort of things. |

How about you suggest how it should be dealt with since you know more than us mods.

Relax, I didn't say that. I am just saying that patience is very important at this time. I have no clue what or why FTR is going this route. That information isn't presented to me. However, when I want traffic to one of my sites. I promote it by listing freerolls. It generates tons of traffic. It is tons of work for mods like yourself. We may only get 3% retention but we all know that going in. I am not saying I know everything nor that I know more then you. I truly hope that the mods and admin meet and communicate about such things. I just don't see where getting upset with the people trying to come in helps anyone. That's my point jymns. That and only that. |

I came to this forum orginally after spotting a cash-added micro buyin tourney on Fulltilt BUT if I had heard about it from one of my poker friends and knew what I could gain from this site, it'd be more enticing than any tourney posted on a site once a month. |

The biggest problem with freerolls is you will always have FRW's in addition to password thieves or sharers. The ONLY way around this is to submit an "allow" list to the poker site or only hold freerolls for linked sign ups. I know many forums have freerolls to "reward" their regular members, but IMO if a forum is going to the expense of having these, it should be for members who suppport the forum by participating in the buyin games. I appreciate there will be members who are trying to build a bankroll, but why should they be allowed to win freeroll money from a forum and then go and play either ring or public games with what they have won ?. Better to have freeroll prizes on a normal payout scale minus $5.50 or whatever and the players are required to play a buyin game within the next 30 days. |

I didn't come here for the freerolls, so fuck them all as far as I'm concerned. From what I understand though, I'm not even allowed to play FTR buy-in tournaments with money added, because I didn't find this site until after I'd deposited (hence no bonus code).

You look in the Passwords Forum. There you will find the PW's to get into the Buy In games with money added. |

An FTR money added freeroll for LOYAL FTRers (250+, 500+ posts or something) would be well received, methinks.
