    Default min-opens at 50nl

When I have 22 or 76s, I like min-opens. But what about when we have some good value? I've been putting in smallish 3x raises to isolate which works better ip (hand 1) than oop (hand 2).

    Hand 1:

    $0.25/$0.5 No Limit Holdem
    6 players
    Converted at weaktight.com

    Stacks:
    UTG ($65.55)
    UTG 1 ($53.00)
    Hero (CO) ($50.00)
    BTN ($87.75)
    SB ($67.65)
    BB ($52.25)

    Pre-flop: ($0.75, 6 players) Hero is CO
UTG raises to $1, 1 fold, Hero raises to $3, BTN calls $3, 2 folds, UTG calls $2

    Flop: ($9.75, 3 players)
    UTG checks, Hero ($47)?

Hand 2: oop should the raise be bigger?

    $0.25/$0.5 No Limit Holdem
    5 players
    Converted at weaktight.com

    Stacks:
    UTG ($52.45)
    CO ($41.25)
    BTN ($50.70)
    Hero (SB) ($50.50)
    BB ($35.00)

    Pre-flop: ($0.75, 5 players) Hero is SB
UTG calls $0.50, 1 fold, BTN raises to $1, Hero raises to $3, 1 fold, UTG calls $2.50, BTN calls $2

    Flop: ($9.50, 3 players)
    Hero ($47.50)?

I was wondering the same thing. I have been going 3.5x ip and 4.5x oop to minraises, not sure if that's correct though.

I always 3x in position and 3.5x OOP. ATo is generally a pretty iffy 3-bet hand vs and UTG open but since he min-raised I think it's safe to assume he sucks and calls with plenty worse.

The BB is 50c, hero is isolating a min-raise (probably a terribad player to boot.)

    Hand 1: $5
Hand 2: Yes, bigger raise OOP. Bet closer to the size of the pot here to better define hands and because this board has more action to it than hand 1.

Yeah, I'm autofolding AT against an UTG PFR when villain's raise is "standard." But I don't wanna just flat here and get the blinds in cheap. Heck, maybe even the BTN comes in, too. ATo is gonna suck multi-way.

    1) I'm not really a big fan of this even if he's obv terrible. A reverse implied spot that is kinda unnecessary. Although 3 betting ip can't be that terrible. As played definitely bet.

    2) Make it bigger for sure preflop. I don't see why you're 3 bet has to be a different size (ie 3x or 4x or whatever) than usual to a min raise. If anything I'd make it bigger than normal in this spot to try and get the same spr as a 3 bet pot.

Sites and players are different. What I've been finding recently is that a min-raise at 50nl on my site is a good indication of how strong an opponent thinks his hand is. I see a lot of weak AX, sooted cards (not necessarily connected in any way), and small PPs. On iPoker I used to find a lot of people trapping with this, but not on Everest.
Just dipping my toes back in.

FT seems to lean toward weak Aces (sooted even!), sc's and stuff like that. I thought I was way ahead of his calling range, obv.
