It's 2nl. He probably does this with any ace, sometimes 53, diamonds, pocket pairs, maybe 4x or 2x, and I'm sure he thinks he making some kind of a clever bluff some of the time.

How many hands have you played with him? With no reads, I default fold. With a decent sample size of at least 20 hands, preferably more, and a confident feeling that his range is wide, calling is good to keep the pot under control.

That board is pretty wet I think you should have raised like 3/4 pot, as played it just comes down to how happy you are stacking off with TPGK.

This is a pretty ideal board to bluff/semi-bluff at for him, I don't like calling.

Given eff stacks, the wet board and his wide button calling range It's either shove or fold IMO, I'd shove.

Also I see you're short stacked here, much better to play with 100bbs imo.

    I would call.

I think his range here includes a lot of high flush draws. Probably the other likely holdings I would give him is a two pair with Ax or the smaller possiblity of 22, 44. I don't see 35 here.

I think betting more on the flop would be useful here.

I call and bet any non diamond turn, and check/call any diamond turn in hopes of spiking a diamond. I also 1/2 bet the pot on the river to try to get out cheaply if I do catch my flush... and I check and hope my opponent checks back any dirty river.
The Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias in which unskilled individuals suffer from illusory superiority, mistakenly rating their ability much higher than average. This bias is attributed to a metacognitive inability of the unskilled to recognize their mistakes

Since its 2NL people are betting with almost nothing or draws most of the time. I'd call and bet the turn. I'd be surprised if he has you beat here.
