Default 50NL: KK, villain c/c flop+turn then bet out on ace river

I had only been at this table a short while, no real reads on villain yet. I've seen him take down a few pots without showing his hand, and I've seen fold after putting money in when he encounters some resistance, so prior to this hand I'm inclined to believe he is a smart player and a bit on the tight side.

    Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (9 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    UTG+1 ($49.85)
    MP1 ($17.10)
    MP2 ($16.30)
    Hero (MP3) ($39.20)
    CO ($31.10)
    Button ($50)
    SB ($1.50)
    Villain (BB) ($38.05)
    UTG ($61.60)

    Preflop: Hero is MP3 with K, K
    4 folds, Hero bets $2, 2 folds, SB calls $1.25 (All-In), Villain calls $1.50

    Flop: ($5.50) 3, 4, J (3 players, 1 all-in)
Villain checks, Hero bets $2, Villain calls $2

    Turn: ($9.50) Q (3 players, 1 all-in)
Villain checks, Hero bets $3.75, Villain calls $3.75

    River: ($17) A (3 players, 1 all-in)
    Villain bets $12, Hero ???

I'm pretty sure he hasn't been calling my bets this whole time with ace high. I was worried he might have something like AJ, but it seems like if he'd hit two pair, he'd bet less and hope for a call. I was also thinking he might have had 33 or 44 and slow played his set.

Is it +EV to call here? Would anyone be thinking about raising?

Gotta look at your bet sizing postflop. You are giving villain huge odds every street.I wont be thinking about raising the river-ever.The only hands that will call you down are the hands that you are beat.
33,44,JJ,AJ,QJ.It looks like villain is taking a pretty strong river line.
Ill most likely fold with given tight reads and pretty strong line.

river is definitely a fold. call/fold is big spew!

as it's a dry sidepot I don't mind the small bets on this uberdry board vs a reg/half decent player, but without any real reads I think just bet big anyway.

your post flop bet sizing is terrible, bet almost double on both flop and turn, as played river is a fold.
"This sure beats Super Mario Bros.!" is my ejaculation catch phrase.

I think all advice is pretty futile because I can't imagine that you can beat / built a roll for 50NL by playing this way.

You probably need to play much lower first.
The strengh of a hero is defined by the weakness of his villains.

I understand the problem with my bet sizing here and I agree that it was all wrong post flop. I think I was looking only at the size of the side pot when deciding how much to bet instead of the size of the pot as a whole, otherwise I would have probably bet about double what I did on the flop and turn.
