3b pot barrel/semibluff

Villain is an 18/16 with a 42% ATS over 80 but I haven't 3b him yet, so I think my first 3b should get credit
I would of course prefer 47s

My reasoning is that since he called my 3b he probably doesn't have AK or QQ+
furthermore, he'd probably raise an ace high/flush draw/straight draw board with a set or a draw

so his most likely cards are AQ, AJ, 99-JJ by the turn
I should fold out 99-JJ, possibly AJ
if he decides to call the turn, he should probably decide to play for stacks if I hit my 5 outer on the river (I will shove river for sure if he checks to me)

For this reason, when he does call pre, he probably has a stronger range than if you had 3bet him 4 times already and he finally called one.

I'd probably just shut down, he's not even that loose pre to begin with. Check turn and hope to spike your outs.

I'd probably triple barrel here if I was going to try to take this down though.

J8s really isn't a good enough hand to call IP with.

Why? This is bvb. That means he should be opening a wide range, I have a super playable hand, it costs me 2BB to call into a pot of 6BB.

I really don't think most people are opening J2s from the SB, nor do I think they should be. I think too many ppl get carried away opening the SB when they will be OOP the entire hand when called. It's not the end of the world folding in the SB!

no I try to open less from the SB, but when I see 18/16 for the BB player on my hud I just can't help myself
