hero thinks he has the nuts here and debates repping a hand like 77-99 or a weaker queen that wants a showdown by checking turn. Or should I rep a float/steal & try to induce a turn c/bomb with the junk end of his range?

When I think about it, he's probably not stabbing river if I rep a weaker showdown value hand because I'm probably never folding those to the river when turn goes c/c, so just b/c turn?

I bet the turn here mainly for the reasons you mentioned in your last line.

I'm kinda torn tbh. If you're betting your b/c. Your range is probably better if you check the turn here cause you can rep more shit on the river and keep it wide.

I guess bet something smallish and shove river cause it probably doesn't what your repping here vs this guy.

I definitely prefer the 1/3 pot bet on the turn here to checking or betting larger.

I think checking is silly for balancing reasons, what I mean is, checking weakens your value range. Say you had a pure float here and you want to keep your range wide, you'd bet the turn for "protection" w/ 67/77-TT or whatever because it's so likely villain has at least one and likely two random overcards. Also very possible he has a hand like 33 which just isn't putting anymore money in the pot anyways.
