    Default 100NL, BVB war

villian is a regular running 15/9/3.7. His steal% is 34%. Is 3 bet a standard play in these spots? Now we have open ended straight draw with a King but the guy likes his hand a lot. fold or shove?

so you guys rarely 3bet with KTo vs 34% steal players eve it's bb vs sb?

Well as stated your 3bet is too big.

Does this flop not bitchslap villains calling range? I mean, I know we have an OESD but I don't think we should automatically be like omg cbet because we have outs.

The choice of whether to 3bet KT here would be dependent on how often villain folds to 3bets, and how he plays 3bet pots out of position postflop.

Most of us 3b a good bit in this spot, but KTo doesn't play well against the 3b flatting range we'll face. With position, however, it plays pretty well against his stealing range when we just call.

And if I 3b with some other holding, I'm making it $7.50 or thereabouts. A huge 3b like yours just guarantees we only continue against a range that has us completely crushed. Why fold out all the hands we can beat?

It's fine to be polarized when 3betting blind vs blind. like 45s-9Ts and TT-AA, AQs+ and then call every other playable hand.

def. not 3b'ing, KT plays fine against his opening range

as purely a bluff it's +EV but not when you make it ~4bb larger than it needs to be
