    Default QQ 100NL Played Horribly

Bleh. Barely any hands on him so far but he has been very aggressive, mainly in position and stealing a lot. I had 3bet (bluffed) him once in which he 4bet me. I figure he ships AA/KK/AK preflop so the K can't really hit him much considering I have a Q blocker to KQ. All I can put him on is 99/88/JTs/PPs turned into bluffs.

    Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (5 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    SB ($156.60)
    Hero (BB) ($100)
    UTG ($101.10)
    MP ($104.50)
    Button ($203.15)

Preflop: Hero is BB with Q, Q
2 folds, Button bets $3, 1 fold, Hero raises to $11, Button calls $8

    Flop: ($22.50) K, 9, 8 (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets $16, Hero calls $16

    Turn: ($54.50) 6 (2 players)
    Hero checks, Button bets $30

he can't have AK, but YOU can
also, he can still have KQ, you don't block EVERY combo of it

there's 6 combos of that which is the same as 99/88
    4 combos of JTs

    there's also 98s for 2 combos

so how much air is in his range?

Given your flop line, I think you need to not fold here.

agree. after c/c flop you have to c/c turn and probably c/c a lot of rivers if he's aggro at all.
eeevees are not monies yet...they are like baby monies.

Just fold, you played it fine.

I disagree with your analysis, most wouldn't ship AA/KK pre.

I know he has been very aggressive but it really doesn't look like he cares if you fold based on his bet sizing and normally I don't give people credit to bluff enough here to want to call. His range is clearly pretty balanced if he's bluffing at all, just fold.

I don't mind folding now, but I'd probably bet the flop.

Lots of worse hands call the flop, any pair will probably peel one. TT/JJ will call, and I don't expect to bet bluff shoved/raised all that much on this board.

in ur accounts... confiscating ur funz
I'd lead the flop with almost any hand I 3b pre, and this is no exception. I think the main problem with checking is that you invite a bluff, and there are tons of worse hands that will call a flop bet... I'd rather bet flop, check turn... with all the delayed floating going on lately you'll probably see a cheap river by checking the turn anyway.

If you check the flop, I think you need to have a plan for 2 barrels against a smart opponent.

    +1

I wouldn't also discount AK pre 100% either.

I disagree completely with Cbetting flop. Yes, I understand that in a 3bet pot, you would want to keep your range balanced by CBetting a K-high board. But with Q-Q, I believe your hand should be played passively in this situation. The reason:

    1) If you bet, you will only get called by better hands which connect.
    2) You should use this flop as a bluff catcher especially on the flop.

Sure it could be possible for that villain could have medium suited connectors, but highly unlikely. And villain would probably not call a CBet with 1010 or even J-J. Why not just c/c flop, and make that dreaded tough decision on the turn.

I am just curious for the reasoning in CBetting this flop Renton. Usually, I agree with your reasoning and logic in your posts. This one I just don't see the reasoning on CBetting K-high.

I understand, it's just that against an unknown I would probably assume he would fold JJ and TT and probably not play JT in 3bet pot. Is this a bad assumption to make?
