Default AA against station -- Wakes up on river

Opener is an unkown and i flatted because of stack size to get the main villain in the pot. Villain is a megafish and is running at 47/5. Fold to cbet of 10% over a pretty big sample. I've seen him call down with the weirdest crap

Because he's so passive, is river a fold getting 3.5:1? It really feels like a fold but in the middle of the sesh I made the questionable call

    Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (9 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    CO ($24.15)
    Button ($55.70)
    SB ($20.25)

    UTG+1 ($39.15)
    Hero (MP1) ($50)
    MP2 ($43.85)
    MP3 ($10)

    Preflop: Hero is MP1 with A, A
    UTG bets $1.50, 1 fold, Hero calls $1.50, MP2 calls $1.50, 5 folds

    Flop: ($5.25) K, 7, 3 (3 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $3, MP2 calls $3, 1 fold

    Turn: ($11.25) J (2 players)
    Hero bets $7, MP2 calls $7

    River: ($25.25) 10 (2 players)
Hero bets $16, MP2 raises to $32, Hero calls $16

Seems like a clear bet/bet/shove to me and as played I doubt you're ever ahead here given your description.

In my experience a min raise by a normally passive player means they are super strong in most cases.

I would re-raise preflop instead of flatting.

But as played I would have probably played it the same and called. I think he probably has at minimum 2 pair, and maybe even backed into a str8.

Probably wrong, tough to get away from this.

i was thinking of 3betting small, but i havent seen villain cold call a 3bet so i took the surefire route to make sure he got in the pot

just unlucky that he backed into two pair

ya against this type of villian on this board i'm working out my 3 bets so that river is a shove. something like pot/11/shove

potting the dryest flop in the world is probably a bit too much even against this guy dont you thinK?

4/10/shove. You said he's a station and will call down with anything and now you're afraid to bet larger due to board texture?

    losing mindset.
    Consider all advice given.
Consensus is that you played 3 streets fairly poorly even before the river arrived. Think about that and learn, otherwise it smells like you're just posting a poor me bad-beat

I think the river is probably a fold as played although it's ridiculously tough to fold in game because aces are pretty, the pot is big and he's a fish..

but 4/10/shove is faarrrr better than the line you took
