    Default Spidey Sense

What are the things that get you folks curious?

Today I was playing some 5-10 and raised Q9ss from the CO.

Button, a fullstacked random tagg flatted.

Flop was , I bet my usual 65 into 85 and villain quickly called.

    Turn was

ooh! Scary board! At this point I almost always 2 barrel and then check-fold the riv or I just check-fold.

    However

I decided to check and call a bet that seemed suspicious. So many of normal taggy villain hands have flopped gutters, A hi + backdoor FD's, small pairs that call in order to bluff a later street on scare cards, etc.

    Villain bet a whopping 200 into 210.

O RLY? At this point I was pretty sure I was being pushed off the hand by a float. Of course, there are a million gross rivers that can kill my hand. I decided to just close my eyes if the river bricked off and click the "check/call any" button.

When the hit the river, I clicked it, closed my eyes, and looked up 5 seconds later to see a big pot shipped my way vs his overbet riv shove w

So obviously, there's no veil over this brag. But it got me wondering : what are the things that, at any point in a hand, make you guys go "HMMMMMMMM time for me to make myself a nice big peanut butter and cally sandwich"?

I used to make these thin calls too much, but now I kind of wait until the urge is just too strong to resist. I know this is a very broad subject, but either specific stories or recurring patterns would be fun for the thread.
when the vpip's are high and the value bets are like razors, who can be safe?

You see someone do something for value with a certain bet size, timing, and/or gameflow and then you see a different bet size, timing, and/or gameflow with the same sort of line, could be a bluff. Same thing for vice versa, probably is value.

Taking lines they would never ever take with made hands, an example being:

    $2/$4 Ante No Limit Holdem
    FullTiltPoker
    5 Players
    Hand Conversion Powered by weaktight.com

    Stacks:
    UTG ($224)
    CO ($1,392.15)
    Hero ($1,463.05)
    SB ($454.15)
    BB ($800)

    Pre-Flop: ($9.75, 5 players) Hero is BTN
UTG checks, CO calls $4, Hero raises to $26, 2 folds, UTG folds, CO calls $22

    Flop: ($61.75, 2 players)
CO checks, Hero bets $42, CO calls $42

    Turn: ($145.75, 2 players)
CO bets $126, Hero calls $126

    River: ($397.75, 2 players)
CO bets $275, Hero calls $275

    Final Pot: $947.75
    CO shows

    Hero shows

    Hero wins $948.75 (net +$479.75)

    CO lost $469

The guy was a super spewy agro semi reg, obviously my thinking isn't very complicated, simply he wouldn't play kx or better this way ever, only hand I was remotely worried of seeing was 44.
"This sure beats Super Mario Bros.!" is my ejaculation catch phrase.

Yaah I feel like they have JTdd or QJdd a ton when they donk that particular turn.

Though everytime I hero call with AJ on river, they have A3dd.
