    Question QQ - bubble - push/fold

    Party Poker $6 USD Buy-in No Limit Hold'em Tournament - t300/t600 Blinds - 4 players - View hand 545720

    SB: t6670 M = 7.41
    Hero (BB): t5755 M = 6.39
    CO: t4520 M = 5.02
    BTN: t3055 M = 3.39

Pre Flop: (t0) Hero is BB with Qd Qs
2 folds, SB raises to t900, Hero ???

kind of tight player(about 21 VPIP) - I think I can get called by probably KK+ & that's really what happened. Was my push right or wrong? I just thought he's stealing blinds

-he must of raised to at least 1200 with the blinds 300/600

    - i'm shoving over here, not only are you ahead of his range you probably have a good amount of FE, QQ+ is near the bottom of my range though (i might shove JJ+, but you said he was tight so probably stick with QQ),

also don't post results, since it has no influence on the decision at the time, also you don't want that to skew peoples opinions.

21 VPIP alone isn't an indication that opp was super tight. What was his preflop raise %?

Anyway, slightly more than min open raise from the SB big stack = steal attempt, at least to me. I'd shove back with a pretty wide range, probably A8+, 55+ and maybe KQ. QQ is a very very easy shove over, if he has AA or KK then that's just bad luck.

Pfr about 17% & in late position 27% after ~200 hands. I think the push seems much easier, doesn't it?

I looked in hand history & it does mean that he raised 900 & he had 300(SB) already in the pot. So the final bet size is 1200.

AA and KK is just a huge cooler imo, I mean he could have a bunch of Kx, Qx and other hands like 10J or 910 or even better a pair lower than yours. I mean it's an easy shove and that's what I do like 90% of the time, but can we not discuss the merits of raising to like 3200 or something and calling a shove, seems like it has some merits, though it probs pot committs you and only allows the absolute top of his range to call. No scrap that, shove, and shove with happiness, you're never folding.

Shoving is probably the best move.

If opp is aggro I can see a case of calling and shoving over his flop bet
