Avatar pic wont show in edit menu

I was wondering what is up with the avatar option on this forum. I have tried to upload a photo many times, all works fine but I cant see any photo in that menu once it is done?

All it shows is a blank, no pic. I tried converting it to a GIF file instead of a JPG and it still does not show.

Yes it is under 65kb, yes it is under 120x120 pixels

Any help?
