    Default $100NL - Flop a set...FPS?

    Villain is running 29/23/1.6 with a 3bet % of 11 (16 from BTN) after 650 hands.
He has floated me in the past.

My plan was to c/c turn, c/r river...thoughts on this plan?

Anyone fold this river? His sizing + timing (slow) made me want to fold.

    For me:
cbetting this turn >>>> your plan

WHy would you c/c turn and c/RAISE river? I think that's almost over-playing our hand, as his range for betting turn/river has a lot of flushes in it and a lot of hands that won't call a river c/r at all.

Well it's obviously depending on the board. I wouldn't check raise a board with a flush on it, just like I wouldn't c/r this particular board.
I don't see how it would be over-playing my hand if the river is an offsuit K or A.

Yah my bad, thought the turn brough a flush in.

I don't hate that type of line to mix it up, if you have strong reads that this player likes to float flops light and always bets the turn when checked to.

I can see a cbet, c/r turn if he's good... just to protect your pot control range and stuff. But I think your line is super weired. You have to be absolutely positive that he fires two barrels with his air at least some of the time. I can't possibly see you getting more value from any of the non-air part of his range this way.

The strengh of a hero is defined by the weakness of his villains.

Always taking the most +ev standard line at small stakes is very underrated.

somebody told it already. Standart lines are standart for a reason. If you don`t have a very strong specific reason not to take such a line - don`t.
I like Betting the turn, or CR`ing

I would have c/r the turn, but I dont think the line u took was that bad. But I dont think you get any value on river if he misses. What hands does he bet river with 88-jj,78s,89s,sets. As played think u just have to call river.
    Stackin chips and rippin lips!!
