50nl- Middle set facing some flop heat

Default 50nl- Middle set facing some flop heat**Wrong forum, pls. move.

Post fail. Pls move to FR forum.

Both villains are unknown, first orbit. Questions about ranges, esp. when MP2 ships the flop. Seems like they both have sets+combo draws with MP1 occasionally having TT-QQ? Obv never a fold but MP2's play intrigued me as to whether it's more likely to be a draw or a nut hand? Flop bet should be bigger.

**I'm not sure why it says I'm the BB, when I'm UTG.

    Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (7 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    Button ($17)
    SB ($44.65)
    Hero (BB) ($50)
    UTG ($24.50)
    MP1 ($50.75)
    MP2 ($59.70)
    CO ($53.30)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 8, 8
    Hero bets $1.75, 1 fold, MP1 calls $1.75, MP2 calls $1.75, CO calls $1.75, 1 fold, SB calls $1.25

    Flop: ($9) 9, 8, 2 (5 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $6, MP1 raises to $17, MP2 raises to $57.95 (All-In), 2 folds, Hero's like lol wat?

i'd think MP2 is actually less likely to have a draw because he should want to keep you in the pot, and he has almost no fold equity against MP1

if MP1 has TT-QQ he should be flatting the flop and not raising

I don't play FR, but I can't imagine folding this any day of my life ever.

The board has waaay too many potential combo draws that will not be folding this flop to any resistance.

Not to mention a set of 2's.

This is on top of the fact that both villains can put you on an overpair very easily. MP1 can have so much, combos, and MP2 can even shove Axdd knowing you will fold an overpair (which you clearly will) and he can iso/dominate some combo draw.

ok, so MP2 thinks he has a range of nut hands and occasional semi-bluffs here. But, he's unknown = likely assumes JJ is a nut hand here...

i would consider folding 22, briefly. Then i'd shove.
MP1 is gonna fold often, but that's fine. He's calling 22 and that's in his range, and he may call some of his draws too cos he thinks he's flipping.

Much more likely to be a draw here.. only like what.. 3 nut hands in his range? Like 5 gajillion draws

The fact that this is a snap call has nothing to do with pot odds.

Without reads or stats, its hard to guage a range here but from the betting i could assume that the weak reraise to 17 indicates a feel bet with TT-QQ, Adxd,Kdxd, or even xdxd. The shove could be 99,22, or the same as above (TT-QQ, Adxd,Kdxd, or even xdxd).
Ultimately, as you well know, the only hand dominating you is 99 and by the betting it is possible that the other 2 have some of each others outs. Im sure you shoved. Let us know what happened.
