    Default 200nl - bluff raiseament

the pfr seems like a multitabling straightforward reg who i don't have any history with.

I didn't actually realize sb was in the hand (another reg) so I peeled flop ( a bit light 3 way?).

I decide to bluff raise turn to get him off mid pairs and AQ+. I think I can rep strong cuz I peeled flop cbet 3 way and now im raising his turn barrel

    thoughts?

Don't think I like it. Your line makes no sense unless you think he'll give you credit for flatting KK/AA pf. I mean generally speaking you're going to play all strong hands here slow (888 and quads) and shove over his often committing river bet.

But if he's playing 20 tables and has 99/AK here he'll probably fold without thinking about anything.

Why are you bluffing against such a strong range?
A straight-forward multitabling reg has a boat here almost always. Don't try to get people to fold boats.

how light do you think I'll get looked up here if I barrel off?

this is pretty much the exact same spot as with the "KK mixing it up hand" where the general consensus seems to be that you should flat the turn because raising looks so strong and he folds all worse. Yet here it's the opposite...

Id let it go on the turn for sure.

Also if its 5 way id likely less 3bet a decent amount.

Haven't read the other posts yet, but isn't this the same hand as the KK hand in the other thread? Except we're bluffing here?

Anyways, I don't like the line in the KK hand but I do think it looks like a ton of BS and that a lot of hands are going to call the turn in that hand.

I also think that this hand/line looks like BS and again you're gonna face a lot of turn calls, and you'll have to decide to bluff shove river against a range that has quite a few monsters in it. That seems pretty lame.

Why bluff when a bluff reps nothing? Makes no sense.

so what youre saying is you are more likely to call when it doesnt make sense for villain to be bluffing and less likely to call when it makes sense for him to bluff with some of his hands. MAKES NO SENSE

I'm saying 95% of the time, on this particular board, I'm going to be calling down and not raising the turn (8x-QQ). So I'd rather call KK down here to balance the majority of my other hands here, as opposed to raising the turn when I never raise the turn with anything else.

I wouldn't say this board "doesn't make sense to be bluffing", from villains perspective, I suppose it depends what level people are on.

I bluff these types of boards reasonably often (where by bluffing, I mean I'm villain and am barreling), because most regs are on the level where my range is strong AND they don't expect me to expect them to fold. So a lot of regs fold the river here.

I'm definitely not saying call, when people aren't bluffing. I'm saying, people ARE bluffing in villains spot.

here's the KK thread in case anyone missed it:

at first I actually had the bet sizes wrong, but managed to ninja edit that shit in time. while raising the turn in the KK hand isn't necessarily optimal it was interesting to see the responses to each hand.
