Default QQ rivered nuts - 50nl

villain is a break-even-ish reg. 17-9, 51% fold to c-bet, doesn't fold to turn c-bets, does float a bunch. He sees me as weak most likely, unfortunately my player notes xml file got corrupted so I'm running on hud stats only for a while, but i do remember that he's a bit of a play monkey. I was deep before he sat down, and we don't have recent history/big hands of relevance

I c-bet this flop with most of my range, and barrel cos i don't really want to have to check decide, nor do i want to give his draws a free card. River is obviously bingo, and not so great for him - fake block time?

Well I think he has more draws than hands that could call a large value bet so I don't mind the fake block, I would make it $6 as ppl tend to spazz more with smaller block-bets

Given your read that he calls 49% of cbets and doesnt fold to turn cbets, I don't really like your betsizing. You are miles ahead of his calling range so bet something like 3.50 flop, 8.5ish on now $11ish turn. Nothing wrong with a little manipulative betsizing for certain opponents.

As played, since you dont have the Qd and I think he can have QdXd a fair amount, I think I bet a bit more. His only missed non pair diamond draws are AKdd and maybe A10dd, which he might not play to an UTG raise. There are pretty much no other draws other than 109 which hit and will raise regardless. So even though he is play happy, I think you will get a crying call a fair amount and almost never raised on this river because he usually has a hand with some showdown value. Thus, I think he calls 12 with close to the same frequency as he does 8.

I think we lose some value here vs a J, but then on the other hand its great for balance and if he has T9 he might not raise if we make it big. While he looks passive we might as well give him some incentive to make a move or value raise worse.

Flop looks fine but I would make it a bit bigger on the turn.

shove allin on river or bet close to pot. block bet you say? why.

make ur bets bigger to line up a river shove.
