Default 50NL - Turn Spew with snowmen?

Villain is 'preflopdrunk' and seems fairly solid over 400 hands, running 15/13.

I think once I c-bet and he calls his range is actually pretty strong something like sets, 10-10+, maybe like 10Js or 66 but prob not as often as the nuttier part of his range. I think I prob should've just c/f'd the turn for this reason.

As played, I was thinking about b/f'ing this river as a bluff for like $15 or something since I think I could get him to fold out like 10-10/QQ, but couldn't pull the trigger.

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with ,
2 folds, Hero bets $1.50, CO calls $1.50, 3 folds

Hero bets $2.50, CO calls $2.50

Hero bets $6.50, CO calls $6.50

    River: ($21.75) (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $24.50, Hero folds

    Total pot: $21.75 | Rake: $1.05

once you started bluffing the turn w/ 2 of his outs you should have continued...

btw 2 of outs just means like a decent % of the combos u can triple him off of don't even exist so why are you starting this bluff in the first place?

so you are turning 1 pair eight into a bluff?

clarification: you are betting the flop expecting to get called by better hands but not many worse?

I think his flatting range pre includes all sorts of stuff like SC's, some suited Ax hands, broadways, and yes pretty much all pairs. I think the flop c-bet is a close spot b/c his continuing range is prob so strong, but he has a lot of hands that will just fold to a bet and my hand is very vulnerable.

After i bet turn I instantly thought it was a mistake just wanted to check here.

to cbet the flop or not is debatable and relies on a ton of factors aside from just getting better hands to fold/worse to call. how villain plays his range when you check vs how he play when you bet is a huge determinant of whether to cbet or check the flop to either call or fold. caddie add me to skype so we can do that hand history review vid, I want this hand to be in it as well so pm me with the raw version of it. thanks.

Cbetting the flop and check/calling are obviously both fine. Check turn though
