Believe I have found leak in my game, would like opinions
I was trawling this forum the other day, and stumbled on a thread by ISF, about how a common flaw in the break-even player's game was calling too often, and that taking an approach of bet/raising could potentially be more profitable. I took the post fairly lightly, thinking "Lulz @ nubs that calL 2 mucch teh big one1!1!!"
Until I realised all of a sudden, that I had been neglecting this simple teaching in favour of calling an unreasonable amount of suited connectors, at pretty much any kind of table, as long as the pot was unraised.
So my question: @ a Full ring, typically TAG table (no reads, as if you had just sat down), where is your cut-off position to playing medium suited connectors? Around: J9s,T8s+,97s+,86s+,75s+,64s+,54s
I ask this, because generally I have been playing these in what i anticipate is far too many positions.
Thanks for the feedback, sorry if the question is unclear. Drunk.
