Default Couple of 3bet spots in 100nl Rush

    1. Villain is 18/15 with 35 ats, 75 fold to 3bet and a 4bet stat of 17% over ~500 hands

I heavily discounted AK because of his 4bet stat, especially BU vs SB because I think its a standard stack off in rush. I have like the nuts on the flop but if I barrel turn and river he just folds all worse. So I decided to let him float on turn. Thoughts?

Hero checks, BTN bets $20.00, Hero calls $20.00

    River: ($83.00, 2 players) J

    2. Villain 19/17 ats of 50 and fold to 3bet of 58 but only 50 hands.

    I'll comment on this later.

    3. MP is an unknown (45/35 over 9 hands) and BU is a rush reg that is 24/21 with 14%3bet and 60% fold to 3bet. I decided against flatting pre because being OOP sucks with an aggro reg in the hand, and BU almost never has a strong hand with 14% 3bet. I obviously don't like being called pre but I smash the flop and that usually helps. Whats my plan?

    1. You aren't barreling enough in 3bp if you aren't comfortable going for 3 streets here.
    2. I'm assuming villain is a reg... more reads please on what you think his range for calling pre is. If villain is not a reg I don't think there is any doubt about going with it here.
    3. I don't understand what the question is. If your wondering if you should bet the answer is yes.

hand 2 fish? ai. reg? depends on how he plays in 3b pots

    1. Its not that I'm not comfortable stacking off, its that I think I get more value by c/cing down in rush. With no history and ppl having fps in rush, I think there is a lot of merit to not betting turn.

    2. Villain doesn't seem to be a reg and I have no history in the 50 hands I do have. I would think his range is a lot of mid pairs and some suited Ax type stuff. His range is polarized but sets will 'play ticky' some % here and the board can run out in lots of bad ways so shove right? (This was a post to make sure its a standard shove).

    3. It was more of a sizing question and how to proceed on blank or heart turns if I get a call.

    3. I still don't understand the bet sizing question. Your bet should set up to get stacks in by the river. Even if a heart drops I'm still prob barreling vs the fish. Vs the reg you are rarely out kicked so it's just a matter of determining how you think the heart affects his range and the proper way to proceed.

    Which depends on your read.

From what I remember, he didn't timebank but it was like 10 secondsish. I would say this discounts AA a bit because he would be probably have planned to c/r any non-A high flop when he flatted pre. I don't usually put much weight to timing tells except a time-down shove is the nuts like always.

    Results in white:
    1. villain checks back K10o
    2. i shove villain folds after brief deliberation
    3. i bet $24 and get shoved on by both opponents and reg's 55 beats the fish's KQhh
    ndultimate.
