On March 6th I started clearing a deposit bonus at a new Ongame skin that will also net me over 50% RB if I complete it within the month. I was killing it over the first part of the month with 27K hands played over 9 days and shut down because of life. So I have only a few opportunities left to play before then so I need to grind hands. I'm going to try and grind back the 5 BI's I am down, and clear the bonus before Apr. 6th. If I can get my BB/100 back to even (currently -2.3BB/100 this month) and grind out the last 6 increments of the bonus I will book a decent month and maintain consecutive winning months of $50NL since I came back to playing after Xmas. It would also roll me for 40 BI's at $100NL to start playing there again.


Currently I have cleared 3 x $115 and have 5 x $115 and an $80 increments of the $1K bonus 8 tabling $50NL 6m. I have played 27K hands which works out to about 8K hands per $115 bonus. (I'm over 1/3 through the next one) so I would need to play just over 40K without nickel and diming the math. I don't remember the last time I played this many hands, but have done 5K a day twice and 6K once this month. I have some plans this weekend so I am looking at doing a lot of this in bunches and long breaks. I don't think I can get it done but lets give 'er a try. I may need to swap to FR for some but let's wait and see.

I also will not be playing Friday, Saturday or Sunday day.


tl:dr, I played 27K hands but need another 40K to complete a bonus. running -2.3BB/100 and want to get to even on the month and reap the benifit of a $1K bonus and earn enough points to end up with 50% or more RB this month. No time, and lots of hands.

Session 1 was delayed as usual, but finished 1K hands just now with my QQ in the BB getting cracked as I was shutting down tables by 99 in MP calling a 3 bet and hitting the set. Down a little to start on the day but no biggie.




Kid Rock discography seems to be doing it's job so I will keep it playing for another 1K hands

Session 2 in the books with an epic comeback over 2K hands, EV was kicking my ass and I guess guys thought I was tilting or getting out of hand with 3bets because I got a few all ins pre with AKs>A7s, KK>99 and QQ>AJo all against regs.

3K hands and BB/100 is positive

Just a horrible evening at the tables. Couldn't get paid on my big hands, boards running out badly vs my mid strength hands and I think I made some pretty bad tilt bluff calls after EV kicked me in the balls during a bad stretch that should have got me out of the hole.

Got a ton of hands in but will try to straighten it out tomorrow. I cleared one of the $115 bonus's and have another one 1/3 of the way done. 7K+ hands on the day. Most I have played in a long time.

GL jyms and don't let the tilt mokey jump on your back. Does essence affect you at all or does the rakeback deal mean it doesn't apply.If it does kick in , is there a benefit to bonus whoring your way round the different sites on the network so that your essence data starts afresh every 90 days or so.

If you're gonna end up playing 2k hands per session while tilted, and losing more than the cumulative bonus.. then it doesn't seem worth it.

You still gotta quit when quitting is due, regardless of if you're going for a volume goal or not. Even if its a 30 min break.

Yea, I don't think I was too tilted. moreso after I was done that I was just having such a hard time getting paid last night.

The 50% RB will be what the bonus works out to when I am done. After this I will move to something else, because essence will kick in and I will only be getting an effective 40% because of the points I have earned over the month.

I'm goon get my coffee into me and give this another go. I still have a ton of BI's so no worries yet. But I need some wins early today or I will shut this down for sure.

your red line seems to be suffering a bit. higher than usual volume makes it tougher but if you don't already consider game selecting more around who's on your left as opposed to who's on your right - such that weaker/tighter players who fold their blinds often or aren't flatting your open raises a ton IP and being stationy postflop. If you aren't getting paid on your big hands like you say then you are probably missing some profitable bluffing opportunities (perhaps check out how you are doing vs flop cbets and spot some areas you could bluff raise more)

juicy tables are great but your win rate may be higher at a table with less fish if you are in a more profitable position.

i realize i just kind of rambled on about shit and not sure if all of it fully applies to you but good luck.

No thanks, it makes sense. I was sitting in some good positions on fish and just seeing a a lot mor eflops than I should of. I was not trying to focus on smaller pots as much and was just trying to get big hands in the middle and bet them hard. The regs that I am typically seeing aren't anything special and since formatting and getting everything working so that I actually can table select instead of shutting down the client to open new tables I forgot that the regs can be beat easily enough.


1st session went well, lost 115BB pot w/set over set and still pulled out ok.

i tend to run into trouble when i try to grind volume working to a deadline instead of just grinding. Best of luck playing a-game, hope you get this puppy cleared and win $$ at the tables at the same time.
