Monitor stopped working

I've got two Dell 30" 3008WFP monitors, and one just stopped working last night. Just shutting my computer down and when I tried to turn it back on this morning one of the monitors wouldn't come on. No lights, nothing. I've swapped the power cables and connections round and the monitor that was working originally is still working fine, so it's not that....anyone have any ideas/suggestions?

Also, over the last couple of weeks, the monitor that is now not working randomly had a small line of dead pixels? I think they're called, which usually appeared while I was playing poker, across one table, but they usually went away if I clicked on the table.
