    Default KK preflop spot

    c4ber is a reg who thinks i 3b far too often, utg is a reg but no real history.

    call it off?

    I don't see how this isn't a matter of combinations of QQ/AA/AK

    6 combos of QQ, 8 combos of AK, 6 combos of AA

    He only has to shove QQ/AK half the time he has them for calling to be correct

    there is also at least a 10% chance BB will 4b/fold, and you're only 100bb deep, and it's 5 handed

    but you probably wouldn't be posting this if it were that simple..

    Cold 4 bettor has QQ+ AK and loads of air imo. He probably folds when it gets round to him a huge amount of the time both with air and non KK+ hands. We can conclude cold 4 bettor just doesn't have AA anywhere near enough to worry about him and wont even be a factor in your decision since 85%+ of the time he just folds here either with air or AK/QQ - sometimes he even makes a bad call with QQ/AK, but whatever, he usually just has some cold 4 bet bluff. You run into his AA like so infrequently his presence in the pot offers more positives in dead money than negatives in the rare occasions he has AA.

    UTG has QQ+ AK at best, why would we think otherwise? We do well vs this.

    It's just such an easy call. Folding would be awful.

    This is a big underestimation given this is 200NL 6 max vs a reg who perceives us as a 3-bet monkey. Cold 4 bet bluffing is the nuts to this guy here.

    I'd actually feel better if BB were coming along with QQ/AK. But if UTG is a reg he probably understands the dynamic between you and BB (sees you as a 3-bet monkey as BB does, knows BB has a lot of 4-bet bluffs) and is surely shoving more than KK+.

    No one has mentioned that UTG and BB are deeper than 100bbs. UTG will be less inclined to 5bet shove QQ/AK given that he is 140bb deep with the BB.

    That said, it is still a call.

    with reads it is a snap call; without reads it is still a call but not a fistpump.

    When in doubt, call (or stove)

    equity win tie pots won pots tied
    Hand 0: 31.867% 29.00% 02.87% 658184652 65186820.00 { QQ+, AKs, AKo }
    Hand 1: 36.266% 34.40% 01.87% 780877512 42348168.00 { KK }
    Hand 2: 31.867% 29.00% 02.87% 658184652 65186820.00 { QQ+, AKs, AKo }

    This is assuming no one folds QQ these days which is prob true. It's also assuming UTG isn't shoving 77 or Axs here should he have the same read you do about BB being f.o.s. And also assuming they both get it in, but BB could obv be bluffing and then you'd have at least 57% vs UTG.

    yeah i posted it because utg was 140bb deep with the cold 4ber . utg had AKs and BB called it off with QQ.

    it's hard not to be results oriented either way if i got it in good or bad here so i thought i'd post.

    Nh. Who played it worse? I think BB has to give one of your credit for a better hand but I understand how hard it is to fold QQ pre these days.

    I've been in spots where I would be tempted to fold KK pf but this is not one of them.

    Against thinking online players, I can't see being able to credit someone with AA here.

    Hold your nose and call.
