    Question Hand w/ Dead Blind

Just wanted to check on this - if I'm opening and a player after me has posted out of turn, do I just treat them as a limper? Or are there other considerations?

Example below - I'm opening from MP, CO has been sitting out a couple of orbits, and has just posted SB & BB.

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.05 BB (6 handed) - PokerStars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    UTG ($6.41)
    Hero (MP) ($8.10)
    CO ($11.15)
    Button ($4.12)
    SB ($5)
    BB ($5)

Preflop: Hero is MP with J, J
1 fold, Hero bets $0.25??, etc, etc

Depends which opp. Is posting, stack size, stats, have you played with that person before? Mostly I would just look at it as dead money and just raise accordingly.

Obviously you treat it as more dead money so your raise should be bigger because there is more money to fight for. Extreme example, if everyone throws 2$ in a pot at 5c 10c before the hand starts would you 3x it now?

With no specific read, I have to use the general read: most players will call w/ ATC after they've dropped the LB+BB in the pot OOP. The first choice they showed me was a bad one, so getting into pots with them is probably good for me.

Paying blinds out of turn is -EV in almost every way.
The price of cards for everyone else at the table is 1.5 BB per orbit, when villain posts OOP, he/she gives up at least 3 "free" pockets (villain does not get to have the BB, LB, or BU pockets, but paid the same as those who do).
These villains are telling me they are too impatient to wait for the blinds to come around again, so they're probably too impatient to make a "big laydown".
It is also extremely likely these villains don't watch the action when they're not involved in the hand. ('Cause when I'm waiting for the blinds to come around again, I'm taking notes on everyone I can)

Sorry, I was trying to say:
I treat them as a limper, but I know that their "limp" was blind, and was a VERY poor choice, indicative of a very weak player.

treebet nailed it imo. i typically just add 1bb to my opens for every dead bb in the pot. unless the table situation dictates i go smaller/larger for whatever reasons.
