    Default Monthly Newsletter

    At the moment we send out a newsletter once a month around the 5-7th. It contains 4 or 5 pieces of news about FTR, including upcoming stuff etc, extracts from a forum thread, etc etc

    How many of you guys read the newsletter? What do you think of the format?

    If you don't read the newsletter, what would you like to see? If you don't read it because you read most of the threads on the forum anyway, would you be interested in a shorter weekly digest of what's coming up in the next week along with a couple of fun quotes from threads you might have missed?

    Question: why is it that they are email only? Is there anyway to have a link to it on the forum or as a sticky on the forum? I hate checking my email.

    We've started doing a weekly "This Week at FTR" which is a blog & forum post - we could make the monthly newsletter a thread too with a link to a webpage version of the newsletter & share it on Twitter/FB too.

    Gala - lol but serious now wolfy, would you be interested in reading a newsletter of any sort?

    Chemist - I'm not sure why you aren't getting it. A web version would mean that everyone whose on the forum would see it which would be good

    Not really, there's not anything FTR would have going on that I'd be interested in tbh. I mostly just come here nowadays to read Benny LaRue's posts and the LOL Pics thread.

    They seem to be aimed at non-US people. I understand that we're not making FTR any money at the moment, but a lot of us are still here and taking part in the forum. The only reason I enjoyed the newsletter was the funny quote at the end. Maybe add something like that to the blog post?

    I've read opened maybe 2 of the emails since I joined FTR. I can't imagine what you would put in there that I'd want to read.
