    Default Thin Value Bet/Missed Value

Villain is 75/50 after like 4 hands and we're playing 2nl zoooom, I expect most villains to fall into weak passive or nit, so I'd be much more inclined to put him in the first.

Poker Stars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.02 BB (6 handed) - Poker Stars Converter Tool from http://www.flopturnriver.com

    Hero (Button) ($4.29)
    SB ($2.25)
    BB ($4.48)
    UTG ($3.64)
    MP ($2.96)
    CO ($2.85)

Preflop: Hero is Button with 10, 8
3 folds, Hero raises $0.05, 1 fold, BB calls $0.03

    Flop: ($0.11) 2, 9, 8 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $0.06, BB calls $0.06

    Turn: ($0.23) 5 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $0.15, BB calls $0.15

    River: ($0.53) 2 (2 players)
    BB checks, Hero checks

I'm unsure if I have gone too thin here or have missed out on value by not betting the river.

I obviously expect villain to be 3betting stuff like QQ+ and probably AK most of the time. I expect villain to be calling with things like overcards, flush draws, straight draws (OE and GS), any pairs, any sets, any two pairs, although he may raise some two pair and sets so we can discount them slightly.

Yet for some reason I expect villain to fold out most of the hands I beat on the river. But would I really be surprised to get called by A high? Probably not.

    I think it's the opposite.

I don't see any value in betting. Maybe a 2nl he "puts you on ace-king" and calls with a number of pocket pairs, but I think that is far out-weighed by the number of combos he has with 9x and better 8x or a slow-played 67. JT doesn't call a value bet and the majority of Ax won't call a value bet either unless he really is retarded.

Check it back and take a valuable note to own villain in future.
