NL10, please critique 2 hands
Both hands are from HU matches. In the first hand, I've been playing Villain for about an hour and we're both about 200bb deep. He's fairly aggressive and I've caught him bluffing a few times. When he has bluffed, he's bet pot. I've shown him a bluff where I checked the flop, bet turn when a FD was out and bet 3/4 pot on the river when the flush got there. Up until this point, I have never donked into him.
Hero: AThh (190BB)
Villain: (187BB)
Villain (D): 3x Preflop
Hero Calls
Flop: Kc As 8c (6BB)
Hero: donks 5BB
Villain: raises to 15BB
Hero: calls 10BB
At this point I thought it was more likely he had a better Ace because I've seen him play draws passively a few times.
Turn: Jc (36BB)
Hero: checks
Villain: villain bets 36BB
Hero: calls 36BB
River: 2c
Hero: shoves 140BB
I shoved to get him off a better ace, 2 pair or a set.
Hand #2, no history between Villain and I and we both have about 100BB.
Hero: Qh 7c
Preflop:
Villain (dealer): min raises 2BB
Hero: calls 2BB
Flop: Qc 4h Jd (4BB)
Hero: checks
Villain: bets 3BB
Hero: calls 3BB
Turn: (8h) (12BB)
Hero: checks
Villain: bets 10BB
Hero: calls 10BB
River: 7d (32BB)
Hero: checks
Villain: bets 30BB
Hero: shoves 50BB
Looking back I'm not happy with this play because a lot of things got there on the turn despite my 2 pair. And I think I got too excited when I rivered 2 pair and didn't consider what I'm getting value from.
