    Default [5NL] KK against fish

Villain is 56/5/7 over 251 hands. FTCB 67% (Same as one of villain's from other thread)

Villain was really agg post-flop, had AF of 3 considering he l/c near 100% of the time pre flop.

Villain had c/min raised a few times, had only seen one go to showdown and he had done it w/ J high, no draws.

The other day I lost 3 buy-ins to this maniac who doubled up several people at the table but always had it against me. That pretty much sucked. If you call here and lose, have the presence of mind to take a break for a while because this kind of thing can really tilt you.

This is all very read-dependent and high risk. Did he continue betting on the turn and river when he min-raised the flop with air? I wouldn't be too surprised to see him show up with a straight or two pair here. If so, that sucks, but he's still a very profitable opponent even if he gets us this time. Just don't let it tilt you.

The information that is missing in the description is, how does he play his actually strong hands? Have you at any point seem him slowplay when he had a strong hand?

I hadn't seen him with too many strong hands. Had seen him play 44, he donked the flop in 3 way pot w/ a set, bet the turn, and bet really small on the river (~20% PSB) making a full house.

Since villain is a fish who plays absurdly many hands preflop and is also mindlessly aggro w/o equity postflop, I'd say there are enough weaker hands in his range to make this a call, especially since we've seen him bet a smaller size for value before. If he's just a mindless aggro whale then you'll have your 27% equity easily via busto draws and random spazz with like 89o. Defo can't fold river for this price when he actually just has total air in his range for raising this flop, lots of club draws brick and he can be mindlessly mashing some depolarised one pair nonsense.

Yeah, you can't feel bad when you call this and he has 88 - you'll make a lot more money when you call him down and he has 9-high than you'll lose when he has the nuts.

If my experience with villain is that he's been c/min raising bs J-high etc, then this is an easy call to his c/r and then call down. No need to blow out his air by raising, if we think he's so weighted to air.

I think b/3b is worthwhile if we've seen him show up with a lot of top pair 8x and weak made hands, or FD's and such.

Very difficult situation. Maybe he had three eights or maybe he had a pocket pair like QQ or JJ.
On the turn you don't make re-raise, you only make a call so he was pretty sure that you don't have an Ace, so maybe he is bluffing you.
I don't know but my opinion is to make a call. Maybe I am wrong, but it's only my opinion.

i'd probably just call the flop because from your description we want to keep his range airy and let him keep betting with it. as played i think i'd just station down
