Default Massive nit folds KK on flop against spazzy unknown

Only a couple of hands on villain, but after the action in the hand, we probably don't really need any hands to mark him in an interesting shade of spaz blue.

I mean, I can make an argument for calling because he's obviously spazzy, but I don't know how much of his preflop spazzing range then shoves the flop.

With the sizing, I need 36% equity, and I have 44% against AA-QQ, JJ. The problem is, I'm not sure that's conservative enough - with the preflop action, he could probably show up with 77 and 22 here too, but then if he could show up with 77/22, he can probably also shove the flop with 89o or 6h4h.

On reflection, I actually kind of wish I'd called, if only to make notes on him if I got coolered, but since his 3bet is so small, after I 4bet him, it's more like a 3bet pot size, so although I wouldn't be folding if the flop pot here had been like 40bb, I don't mind it _too_ much.

Perhaps I'm just a big nit, but I thought I'd see what everyone else thought of the fold.

    MP: $25 (250 bb)
    CO: $12.64 (126.4 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with K K
UTG raises to $0.20, MP folds, CO raises to $0.49, BTN folds, Hero raises to $1, 2 folds, CO calls $0.51

Hero bets $1.70, CO raises to $11.64 and is all-in, Hero folds

Yeah I'm raising bigger, $1.40 maybe. Snap calling this vs unknown, I expect to see lots of Jx and flush draws as well as occasionaly being crushed. Potatoes are not poisonous, I eat them all the time and I'm alive and well.

It's good to know that you can always just play like a massive total supernit and still beat the micros.

This fold is a pretty massive mistake. He's clearly a fish based on preflop sizing. If he has AA you're gonna get 5 bet a large amount preflop. He makes it to this flop with his entire min 3-betting range which could include stuff like AJ QQ even worse Jx sometimes and then a bunch of FDs. If he has a set most fish aren't going to just rip it in here. There are a lot of good reasons why you can never fold here.

4b is too small for sure.

I'd cbet flop a bit smaller, and this is the biggest snap call ever. I would never in my life fold this. ie: This is not close at all, this must be a call.

4bet pre was small to induce spaz, worst thing about that was when I got spaz on the flop, I folded like a big nit.

Thanks guys. This hand was clearly a monsters-under-the-bed moment, I was way too quick to decide he didn't shove the flop with much worse, wheras actually he has lots worse that's afraid of a heart turn, and he also has lots of heart draws and other random spaz shoves.

Also, I don't understand all the potato hate. Potatoes are perfectly OK to eat as Ong said, I also eat them on a regular basis. In any case, I didn't even mention potatoes in the original post, so I think it's kind of off-topic for you to be bringing them up here delicio, and I would prefer you posted your thoughts on the hand rather than venting your irrational potato rage.

If u don't have much info on teh villain, such huge overbet is an easy fold.
If things were to magically revert to January 1st, 2003, only I could take everything I know now in terms of poker ability/knowledge, bonus clearing, etc., I think it's safe to say that it would be trivially easy to make over a million dollars.

We do have info on villain. He 2bet shoves the flop. He's a fish.

Which of these hands are you more likely to massively overbet shove:

22, 77 or JJ when you have your opponent crippled?

or something like Axhh, 7xhh, 89hh, 9Thh, Qxhh, Jx?

I'm 4betting to $2.20 and then definitely not folding to the shove. You have to assume he is fishy based on the pre flop action, and like Griffey says it is less likely he is shoving with the supernuts than with FD's and TP like hands. The fact that he shows up with QQ here more than AA based on pre flop action alone makes this a very easy call.

Just be sure to take note of what he shows up with
