40 hands on villain, he's 44/12 which pretty much says all you need to know.

He can't have too much here that beats us surely - there are 6 combos of the boats, and if he's got the case 8 there's only 3 of 89o he can have. A8o/A8s likewise - not too many combos left he can have.

Do you station this off and expect to see AA/KK/QQ or are you folding?

Seems fine. Some bad EP limper here will prob show up with some weird KK/AA sometimes even.

You could get away if you don't like it because the pot's so small relative to the bet, but I'd call here. Like you said there are 12 boat combos and 4 combos of better trips, that's very few. He could have an overpair and there are 30 of those. He could have a 9. I think he usually has one of the 32 combos of worse trips. Or he could just be tilted. So I like a call.

BTW I saw this guy tonight get stacked two hands in a row, straight over straight and boat < quads. He just reloaded and kept playing. I was impressed by his mental fortitude. Honestly I'd have been a little tilted after that.

I mean I think you'll run into A8 sometimes, but I'm not too worried about boats. Some boats will surely just flat your turn c/r instead of pumping it in so hard. Might see 2's full I suppose, but prob not 9's full or 89.

Call it off versus fish. Your going to be in bad shape sometimes, but there's going to be enough spaz in there to make it profitable (which your combo analysis tells you).
