Default Spazzy turn jam - station it off?

    Villain is an unknown.

Turn sizing makes no sense for value - it's so easy for him to get all the money in on the river if he just bets normal, so given his sizing do you station off the turn?

Re: the turn check, I didn't really expect to get a turn bet called by worse too often, so if he bet the turn half pot or something normal like that I probably fold, thoughts?

I'm probably not 3betting KQ vs an MP open in the first place.

If I am 3betting, it's not to make some big fold when I flop the relative nuts (TPGK) for this particular hand.

This is a snap getting 2:1. He has a lot of bluffs and worse made hands in his range. You could be beat but calling here is very +ev. One thing is that you took the tag give-up-with-AK line which alone will induce a lot of bluffs.

I recently did a bunch of work on balancing my default preflop ranges, and KQo was top of my folding range (I flat KQs here) so I chose it as a 3bet bluffing hand because it blocks a lot of a continuing range. Would you say it's good enough to flat here and I should 3b bluff something else?

I'm probably biased, because I feel like I flat a fair bit from the BB.

I wouldn't call 3b KQ a pure bluff perse. It's a "bluff" in the sense of you not wanting to 5b it, but in that case 3b AQ is often also a "bluff" vs some ppl. It's probably still for value vs his calling range.

Either way, if you're gonna "bluff" with hands like this, you have to know what your plan is when you flop TP.

Yeah, I probably should have a plan for that. I said in the OP I didn't call a "normal sized" turn bet but I reconsidered that after posting - I think I'm right that I can't often get a turn bet called by worse, but folding the turn seems bad and I have pretty much the nut bluffcatcher here so I think 100bb deep I just have to c/c turn and call river. If we're much deeper I think I can probably call turn fold river.

Preflop, I mean, when I say bluff, it's like you said - it probably is sometimes for value against his calling range, but I'm 3bet-folding so in that sense I'm bluffing. I'm also flatting a reasonable bit from the BB, but much more vs. CO and BTN, wheras vs an EP open I'm flatting to setmine and flatting a few semi-premium broadways.

I'm calling pre, not raising. As played I call this happily.
