3betting vs a minraise

I keep seeing a ton of minraises from nits, I don't know if anyone else sees this as much as I do.

I'm not sure if I'm dealing with it correctly. Generally, I just 3bet them to a normal size, but I keep wondering if I should make it a little smaller, like normally I'd 3bet a 3bb open to 9bb in position, wheras vs a minraise I have experimented with making it 7 or 8bb, because otherwise I'm laying myself a worse price on my bluffs when I 3bet to 9bb to win 3.5 vs 4.5

Does anyone have any views one way or the other on whether we should adjust our 3bet size vs. min-opens?

I generally go 3x -> 9x IP, 3x -> 10-12bb OOP
and 2x -> 6 or 7x IP, 2x -> 7-9x OOP
