He can have sets, AcA and AcK, as well as flushes. All the money now imo.

And I wouldn't worry if I did pay him off, flush bust by flush isn't a common enough spot for me to sweat about.

Don't love the flop raise IP. I guess it could be worse.

    Why are we raising flop?

Call flop. As played, call turn.

Why shouldn't we raise the flop? Because it's 3way which means villain doesn't cbet bluff?

Because we can't continue to a 3b from either player behind or UTG, so we're putting ourselves in a position to get blown off our hand.

The only thing that makes it closer for me is that villain seems fishy so he prob has a low AF and won't b/3b us that often, but vs someone who might b/3b I really wouldn't want to raise this.

edit: Thinking about it more, raising is also ok cause we ISO the bad player and player behind might fold some mid pair etc. As long as we're confident players won't blow us off our hand with Kx or something, I don't mind it.

Why raise flop if you are thinking about folding when you catch the turn you needed?
Surely the turn situation is exactly what you were aiming for.

I'd probably raise this flop but that's because I'm a spazz with a flopped flush draw. I'd tell myself Kx can b/f flop, and that he has plenty of pairs that fold. I'm also pretty happy to stack this flop 3way once I've raised the cbet. If SB folds and villain jams, well sigh fold but hopefully he just reg 3bets and we can call.

Yeah, you're right of course - I don't really know why I was considering it. I did jam at the time, then thought he is fishy and flatting the flop raise then c/r the turn really seems to rep a flush, but he can have enough 2pr and sets to jam, and as you said - once I've raised the flop, I shouldn't be second guessing myself when I get the turn I want - I just have to go with the hand.

I like raising less because I don't think we have much FE when a guy like this raises UTG and c-bets in a 3-way. I wouldn't be surprised if he bet/called 99-QQ. We should be better than him postflop, and by keeping the SPR large, we realize this advantage more on later streets, especially with positional advantage. It's probably +EV either way, but I still feel like it's better to call.
