Default [10NL] QQ...4bet pot. Strange line from villain.

    Villain is 29/20/10 (3bet) over 211 hands. AF of 4. FT3B 67%, CB 59%, CB in 3bet pots 75%, 3/4.

    PokerStars - $0.10 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
    Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

    SB: $9.09
    BB: $4.00
    UTG: $11.78
    MP: $35.49
    CO: $12.78
    Hero (BTN): $13.07

SB posts SB $0.05, BB posts BB $0.10

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.15) Hero has Q Q

fold, MP raises to $0.30, fold, Hero raises to $0.90, fold, fold, MP raises to $2.70, Hero calls $1.80

    Flop: ($5.55, 2 players) 7 2 K
MP checks, Hero bets $2.60, MP raises to $32.79 and is all-in, Hero ???

Thoughts on calling the 4bet pre? I don't think villain has to be super strong here all of the time and he seems fairly aggro. I wasn't sure whether to just 5bet jam but I think he only calls with like QQ+ and AK.

He then checks the flop which I don't understand. I think he always bets this flop w/ AK and AA. I mean, maybe he thinks he is going for some crazy c/r for value if he has KK because the board is so dry and he thinks TT-QQ will fold if he bets.

Is he ever just completely bluffing with a hand that missed this flop, I think it's possible. Is he 4betting AJ or AQ pre and just spazzing because he missed or I am being too optimistic and should just fold now?

Oh man if this isn't the perfect hand for a flop check back... I don't know what is.

Why are you betting? What are you hoping will call you that 4b pre and decided not to bet the flop?

Him checking this flop is very suspicious and I wouldn't bet any part of my range other than AK+ if I had it.

Well it's obviously a fold now, but I don't hate the bet as much as griffey does. I think it's well-intentioned if you expect him to play straight forward and check call with a lot of mid pocket pair type stuff. The problem is that he 4bet from the high jack with slightly deep stacks so he's not nearly as likely to have 99 or TT. So basically you're just trying to get value from JJ and he'll have a rag king or be playing tricky with AK+ too often for it to be +ev.

So I guess long story short I'd like the best if it were blind v blind instead of button vs hijack. Fold now because you only beat a flush draw and have 2 outs vs everything else.

JJ is the only hand that makes sense to get value out of, and even JJ 4b from MP OOP 130bbs could be a reach.

Even if it's not a reach, we don't have 3 streets of value vs JJ and JJ has only 2 outs to improve. So it's still a flop check imo.
