Default [25NL] KJs flop raise now facing big river bet

Villian here is a reg and running 25/19 over 550 hands with a 22% raise cbet over 18 samples.

I think the flop is a standard call, I don't think he raises AJ here for value so his range is pretty much bluff heavy. Hands like QT, 8T, might play this way maybe even KQ. Once the turn checks through I think I make a mistake and should make a small value bet for hands like QT/8T to call that may not be able to find a fold, his WTSD is 24 which makes me think a small bet will be better.

I check and he bombs river, I don't see many combos of flushes that don't bet the turn and he bets value hands such as sets & 2 pair on the turn. I'm trying to think of a hand that might play this way which could be KQ?

    Hero (MP): $34.76 (139 bb)
    CO: $29.85 (119.4 bb)

Preflop: Hero is MP with K J
UTG folds, Hero raises to $0.75, CO calls $0.75, 3 folds

    Flop: ($1.85) J 9 2 (2 players)
Hero bets $1.25, CO raises to $3.75, Hero calls $2.50

    Turn: ($9.35) 4 (2 players)
    Hero checks, CO checks

    River: ($9.35) T (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $7.01, Hero ??

Versus someone that I perceived was raising a ton of flops, I might even b/3b small on flop. (edit: thought we had AJ, KJ might be a bit thin for this).

As played, I would bet river myself (I doubt he has many JT/9T), and yah KQ getting there sucks but my plan is to b/f. I have enough KQ here myself that I'm fine b/f here.

Thanks Griffey, so I guess as played we're mucking it?

I think as played I'm calling. Why is he betting so much after we checked turn and river? It should look like we have a hand that wants a cheap showdown, so this bet looks like he's trying to induce a fold. I'm calling as played, I check river to c/c.

Meh ong, lots of people just shove the nuts hoping you're curious. Especially at 10nl.

That said b/c c/c c/c (only calling turn or river, not both) is how I'd post it. Not that I assume that's correct.

I would probably bet 1/3 pot so as to get to showdown, the problem of his overbet in the river makes me put him on a set or on a bluff. I'd probably fold as you, but I'd prefer to bet 1/3 of the pot, and fold if he reraised

    b/f turn... b/f river
    as played fold.
All posts are just my own opinion about a hand or a general situation... not advices on how you should play...
