    Default Worth moving up?

So after a 5 year break I am back playing NL holdem. Long story short, I was a break even multitabler at 25 and 50nl in 2008 then got bored and went broke at higher levels.

im back to 25Nl as of JAN 1st to give it another shot, and quickly learned that my problem all along was multitabling. I just plain suck at it, I make poor decision. I need the time and focus to beat the game so I am sticking to one table.

since I started, this is my results...

    played about 8K hands
focusing and playing really good poker
making good decisions, good bets and good folds.
    playing position well etc...
winrate is a consistant 55BB/100 which looks like a massive heater, but it doesn't feel like I am on a heater, it truly feels like I am just crushing the game.
I have large winrates in all positions, but do still have some holes to work on.

anyways, I am already bankrolled to move up to 50NL, but with the winrate I am at I am just not sure its worth moving up? I kinda like being in the top few on the pokertablerating rankings

should I wait a month or so and see what my winrate does or is it quite possible to crush 25Nl at over 40BB/100 for a long period?

my play is farily consistent too.

I am showing a profit in 85% of my sessions. I have only shown a loss 4 days this month and 2 of them were under $5.

I have had a few downswings, maybe 2-4 buy ins, but I recover very well and am not concerned about my play ever.

anyways, I am trying to decide wether I should give it another month before trying 50NL, or if I should give it a shot now.

anyone else carry large winrates (above 30bb/100) from 25Nl into 50nl? single tabling?

A heater never feels like a heater.

    Good luck whatever you decide.

You'd have to play so many hands at 25NL to answer that, it's a complete waste of time.

By the time you established that you were crushing 25NL by a statistically significant margin, you'll be rolled for 50NL 10 times over... at least.

If you're rolled for 50NL, and you think you're playing well, then I'd say take shots at 50NL.

Exercising bankroll management is hugely important, so have a plan for when to move back down if things don't go well.

As far as I know, no one has shown they can consistently beat any stake for more than ~25BB/100.

Definitely try it for a couple of days and see.
If you don't get 20BB/100 or more at 50NL then go back and see if you can still get your 55/100.
Don't forget that $/100 is the more important figure for this decision.

Single tabling and really paying attention should mean you are doing better /100 than similarly good players multitabling but they make up in sheer number of hands.
What site are you on and how are you selecting tables?

    I'd re-eval at like 20k hands.

That being said, there's nothing wrong with trying to take a shot and having strict BR requirements for when you drop back down.

soaking up ethanol, moving on up
move up or stay where you are whatever - just apply decent bankroll management and if you do move up then don't change your game, but move back down if you're stuck x buyins, determine x before you move up. gl.

    I play at party 25NL 6max

I spend a great deal of time on table selection, I always have 1-2 fish to my right
