    Default I love slowplaying

$10 SNG, very early on. Table seems tight.

Didn't get much, but I doubt I would've gotten any more by betting earlier (probably would've just scared them out - at least I got some)

Five hands later I mix it up

Hand 1 you could probably min bet to get the action going or a small raise as if you are weak bluffing the 66s, this isn't the WPT they won't believe you and still pay to draw to whatever trash cards they hold...

Maybe. But I was happy with it.

Plus it gave the observant players some faulty information, about how I'll check with a strong hand all the way down to the river, then reraise. May have helped my case on the second hand.

These people started folding to all my bets after this, or shoving all in preflop or at the flop.

By the way, not to be overly technical, but I couldn't "raise" in the first hand until I did. And position stopped me from making it look like a bluff if everyone checked to me.

Anyway, I was the leader heading into the final 3, but the small stack outdrew me like 3 times in a row with preflop all ins and became the big stack. The other small stack then puts me all in (nearly all in for him), and I call with A rag, and he has two rags and hits a low straight

Ah well, at least I'm not bubble boy :P

heh ignore me I had a bad night and decided to have some wine and study my game (still can't believe i lost with 3 aces in the hole *hic*)

Don't give the players so much respect though, most of them probably couldn't remember your name let alone how you played an earlier hand. Also, the slow play could be mistaken for weak play and induce some bluffs when you don't want them.

... Hmm? Isn't that the point of slowplaying? To seem weak and induce bluffs?

Are you really this drunk Toasty?

I don't slowplay when I have top pair or anything easily beaten.

Yeah i'm pretty pissed, the weak play comment was supposed to say you might be seen as weak tight because of this hand and induce bluffs in later hands where you don't want them as you have a marginal hand.

I'll probably re-read and edit all my posts tomorrow to make it look like I agree with you

Yeah, but those are the only two hands I slow played the entire tourney. Its not often you flop a monster.
