I found gold at a poker stars table tonight, too bad it had to end.

This was the first hand I saw, but wasnt dealt and I decided to stick around for awhile.

PokerStars 0.25/0.50 Hold'em (8 handed)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with T, 5. Hero posts a blind of $0.25.

Flop: (25 SB) 2, Q, 7 (6 players)

When you play these super loose tables you get high varience right? but yet it seems like you can make a lot more than you lose if you stick to your good cards.

Do you guys like to play at these kinda tables where the pre-flop raising is a little higher than you would like but you know that they are just raising the pot with cards like A-8o?

I left after my trips lost to the 67, still ahead on the day, but not as much as i could have been.

Great that your using the bisonbison converter. It's very helpful in looking at hands. On the side of the screen, with all the other options. There is a box that says, "Show results" click it so we can see what people have at the showdown.

As for the hands. Wow. I thought PS was tighter than that. I have been roaming around the limit tables. your limit, higher and lower, and I've never run into pots over 20BB consistently.

I'm sure Fnord and others would say to sit at that table and rake in the money. I prefer the tigher tables. I like solid play.

It's all a matter of prefrence.

These are the easiest tables to make money on. They call/raise/reraise with Ace hi! I love these games. Play your normal big hands, pocket pairs and add suited connectors/gappers. When you have a monster hand, it will not matter how many raises you put in, or how you play, they will always call and reraise. They dont observe your game, so they dont know or care that you have a monster.
