either im stupid or you went allin preflop UTG with 2-7. And your complaining about the "fish" calling with KK? After the chips are in the pot, the order of the cards is irrelevant. Though it was a dramatic way for you to go down, get over it.
Is that guy still part of the forum??

Not sure how you figure you "played it perfectly". You're going all-in with 27s and you think you played it perfectly? I would venture to say that your opponent was the one who had everything perfect for him. you raised him all-in pre-flop when he was sitting there with KK.

He had all of the money in the pot with the best hand and then it was just a matter of the luck of the draw on the board.

Don't mean to be a dick but you're thinking is way askew if you think you played that hand perfectly.

If that's what you were going for, my apologies, allLiving. That went right over my head.

Geez, my sons are now gone after being here with me for 3 weeks and I return to the forum in a fog. Ugh. Sorry, guys.

There's no perfect or not perfect about it. It's a failed pre-flop bluff, plain and simple. I've certainly tried blind steals with 72s before, but trying it when the button has limped in here is certainly risky. You know he has some sort of a hand, and you are the small stack. If he feels the least bit like gambling you are getting called.

Hah, it was a joke guys! I wasn't trying to blind steal, I wanted him to call. In fact I knew he had a hand the second he called the BB, waiting for me to go all in. It was a fun flop though I'll give ya that.

WOW. I found it funny. Whenever something goes wrong and pays off big. I get excited, then when i realize he pulled an even greater mircle, i cannot help but laugh at how fickly lady luck is.

Lady luck is not fickly. She knows what she is doing.

I have AQ and go all in, my opponent has Q6. You don't need lady luck to tell you a 6 is coming down on the flop or turn.

I have QQ and go all in against K3. Again, what card is coming on the flop or turn? You guessed it, a K.

    More difficult:
I have T6 and forced all in on the blind. Someone calls me with T4. 6 comes on the flop, how is this possible?
Answer: The flop also brings 5 and 3. the turn brings a 2 and T4 has a straight.

I've seen this situation come up too many times in the past couple of weeks. I have a dominating hand and lose.
I don't know what they have to say
    It makes no difference anyway.
    Whatever it is...
    I'm against it.

How's this? Live game, 9 player table. Fairly loose. $.50 - $1 NL

    Dealt to me, AA
Dealt to the only caller : Q6o.

I bet preflop hard. about $5 and I get one caller
    Flop: J87, J clubs, 8 Clubs.

I have No hearts in my hand, his QUEEN is a club. I push him all in for about $8, and he calls. Turn Club, River Club. He wins with flush. I left without saying anything.
