    Classic any 2 will do situation. Folding away over 1/3 of your stack is silly.

    Curious what got you in this situation in the first place, and why you hadn't picked a better hand to run with earlier...

    Yeah, I think one of my bigger leaks is to under-estimate my chances if I have to fold away down to a small but not trouble stack.

    I think you could have abused that guy heads-up with stop n' gos.

    Raise 25-33% of the smaller stack pre-flop. If re-raised then you need to consider a fold vs push.

    Then either push, fold or trap on the flop. Against weak players you put pressure on them to have a "playable" hand pre-flop, then hit the flop hard enough to call.

    After you pull this 3-4 times, they'll figure you out and re-raise all-in pre-flop with a wider range of hands. So switch up strategies (to either limping or pushing) on them before it gets to that.
