An unavoidable loss?.. i think so...
Here's the situation... 6 max $100 NL PP table
I am on the button (i think) with A7 suited.. one limper, i call, sb folds, bb checks
flop comes A77
check, check, check
turn 10
check, I make small bet, bb folds, other guy calls
river X .. i think a possible flush was made..
guy left bets like $5.. (underbet the pot), i raised to $15.. he immediatley went all in for $120 more or so, i called, (I had $520 at the time)
he turns up 1010, his boat beats mine...
Am i right in thinking i couldnt have done anything about this?...
preflop 6 handed im playing a7 suited on the button, post flop, i am not going to bet a flopped boat!... and at the river, he could have had a 7 ... or a weaker boat... so i had to call, plus there are so many idiot i think it's worth it no matter what...
here's the kicker.. after i said "well that sucked" the guy had the nerve to say "why did you slow play it?"
