    DrNoChance....?

He's representing that he made the flush too. Of course, he could have KQ (but why not bet the flop in that case?), a set, or be semi-bluffing with a high heart in his hand.

Call, raise, push, or fold? Go on to explain your reasoning and how you will respond to re-raises/river play/etc.

    Thanks as always for feedback.

Push, don't give him a cheap redraw with a big heart, set or 2 pair. If he has a bigger flush, you're paying him off. With nearly half of his stack in already, I think he'll call here with a wide enough range of holdings.

Yeah, he probably pays me off on a set/2pr often enough to compensate for when he has a higher flush.

I considered calling, and check/calling the river.
This has the disadvantage of giving a big heart/2pr/set a chance to outdraw me. It has the advantage of possibly losing less to a better flush if he only value bets the river. It also has the advantage of inducing some bets from some worse hands that might have folded to a push.

But this is Party Poker, players are fishy, and there's worse hands out there that will probably call my push here than the flush. Perhaps calling + check/calling the river would be a reasonable play though against tougher competition as long as the pot isn't too big (so that giving a free card isn't such a huge mistake when you're ahead)?

For some stupid reason I re-raised (enough to deny proper odds to a chaser), but didn't push. He pushed, I was pot-committed, and I cried and called. He actually had 5h 4h

I should have just pushed if I was going to re-raise, since anything that calls the re-raise is probably calling the push (there's a small chance that the push folds out some weaker hands, but I doubt it at this level).

Thanks for the feedback as always, Fnord.
