Good Fold?

Please, someone just reassure me that I make the correct play by folding this hand to a 5x BB raise and two calls. I feel the fold was correct but I about died when I saw the flop and all the action that followed.

good fold. the hand wasn't even suited so you can't use that as an excuse. the same thing happened to me today in the gauntlet. i had KJs in late position, 2 or 3 people limped in, and TylerK raises before me...i think for a while, but i figure that i'll be up against a lot of aces so if the flop comes with an ace i'm pretty much screwed. i fold, and everyone calls the raise. and the flop comes KJJ.

I would have to say you folded smart. It's better to fold then to stay in and get owned on the FTR -.- Folding that and accepting the fact that you hit a two pair on the river is all apart of the game -- which is what makes it fun; since it is a gamble.

I probably didn't have anything, either. That's payback for the full house vs. full house, asshat. :P

Yup, good fold. A9 never good with raise and reraise infront of you.

Routine fold IMO, I dont even think you should have tried to limp in with this hand. Its is quite the same as if i fold 46 on a raised pot, and flop comes 235. You just hit an unlucky flop, but you made an excellent fold. Well played

Oh, youre totally right Xianti, I just realized it was 6-max. However if it were a full table i would muck A9.
