    Was I just lucky? or did I have the correct odds to call?

    Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (9 handed) converter

    Preflop: Hero is MP3 with T, Q. Hero posts a blind of $2.
    UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, Hero (poster) checks, CO folds, Button raises, SB folds, BB folds, UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, Hero calls.

    Flop: (13.50 SB) 4, J, 5 (6 players)
    UTG checks, UTG+1 checks, MP1 checks, MP2 checks, Hero checks, Button bets, UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, Hero calls.

    Turn: (9.75 BB) A (6 players)
    UTG checks, UTG+1 checks, MP1 checks, MP2 checks, Hero checks, Button bets, UTG folds, UTG+1 calls, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, Hero calls.

    River: (14.75 BB) K (5 players)

    interesting hand history...looks like the button's only time to protect his hand was on the river, which i have no clue why he didn't raise unless he was some kinda mind reader knowing you have QT

    on a rough mental estimate i calculate that you need about 12 to 1 to call a gutshot at the turn.

    This is based on the fact that you need about 6 to 1 to call an OES. Looks like you have it, 9.75 a bet and three calls before you.

    With Implied odds involved, its actually less than 10.5-1 to call a gutshot on the turn. I was getting 14-1 to call.

    My main question was is this plausable on the flop to call this bet with only the possibility of hitting runner runner straight? I was getting 19-1 to call the flop bet.
