    ram6968: raises $9.70 to $10.10 and is all-in
    Hero folds
    Pot:[/b] $1.10

When I first started playing I would usually call an all-in when I had a high flush. I did this twice and was beaten twice by an ace-high flush. This time I folded. Was this wrong? I don't have much of a read besides he is slightly on the tight side for this level, which is still lose.

    himself fucker.
You bet weak when you are weak. Try and fix that.

Hand 1 is cooky. I can't really say what's up. The pot is relatively small though. So folding the best hand isn't that bad of a move.

Hand 2: Just becuase he's calling doesn't mean he has top pair. Make the turn bet bigger so you can get information. Like I said, you bet weak when you are weak. You need to fix that.

Hand 3: .4 preflop .35 on the flop. Any observant player would pick you off easily.

I've learned to attack weakness. You'd be my table beotch.

    ...edited... I always double post!
It's hard work. Gambling. Playing poker. Think about what it's like sitting at a poker table with people whose only goal is to cut your throat, take your money, and leave you out back talking to yourself about what went wrong inside.

So putting aside the fact that your looking for a man-toy, I should be betting at least the half the pot if I'm going to bet? It makes sense to me that I should bet large compared to the pot at the flop when it’s still cheap and easy to scare people away.

Since both you and highroller seem to be looking for some male companionship maybe you could alternate nights of who gets to be the "beotch."

    *taps his nose*

And I don't need male companionship. I have IRC.

    I <3 FTR IRC.

It helps with those lonely nights.

Hand one: I´d never call all-in with a hand like that. Think about it: How many suited hands do you play? How many of those contain an Ace? A lot, I would think.
It doesn´t make sense that he´s got something else than a drawing hand, and that drawing hand is most likely a flush with something better than a ten in it.
I think folding is the right thing, at least until you get a reading that he is a maniac or something.

while I think you may probably have had the best hand, you did the right thing by folding. theres only what just over a dollar in the pot? He might have been going for a flush draw also but with a higher card though. Doubtful but a slim possibility. Fold and wait until you get a hand with the nut flush.

    hand #2
agree with the gorilla guy. SHould have bet bigger on the turn to find out where you are in the hand. If I had your stack of $9, I would have bet somewhere between $3-$5 on the turn.
There are a few hands he could have that warrants him calling that $1 bet. The only ones that beat you are a pair of jacks or jacks up.

How did that hand end? what did he have?

    hand #3
whoa! a smaller bet on the flop then what you bet on the preflop! watch out for that slip up. It screams weakness. If I was one of those people at that table and saw you do that I would have gone AI on you.
