What's up everyone? I'm new here. First, a little history:

I've recently started playing poker online for real money. I made the mistake of starting on Party Poker with a $100 deposit cause they had a 50% bonus. I was playing on the 0.50/1.00 limit tables and I basically broke even (so I lost about $50 but was able to release the $50 bonus). I've lucked out and have gained some money since then. I kept playing the limit tables until I recently started playing the $25 NL tables. After reading through this forum a bit, I've since realized that I shouldn't be playing at these limits. It's a good thing too cause I'm up to about $140 right now (working on a $20 reload bonus). My plan is to get my $20 and get the hell off of Party until I build up my bankroll. I'll probably start playing on Poker Stars where they have micro-limit tables.

Anyway, I took advantage of Royal Vegas Poker's free $10 and played for a couple hours tonight at the 0.05/0.10 NL tables. I thought everyone would be calling everything but surprisingly, people were playing pretty tightly. It was to the point where there'd be $0.50 in the pot and someone would bet $0.10 on the flop and everyone would fold. People seem to be playing tight/scared on there so it was pretty easy for me to bluff and win quite a few pots. I ended up at about $19 and change before my session was over.

I have 2 questions:

1. Are the people on Royal Vegas normally this tight on the nickel/dime NL tables? If so, it's going to be a lot easier to build up my initial $10 than I thought.

2. Is Poker Stars a good place for me to go with my $60 bankroll I have so I can make some money and learn playing at the microlimit tables? I wouldn't mind just putting the money into Royal Vegas but there weren't enough people playing for my tastes (then again, I'm used to Party where there are tons of people all the time.)

I'll probably start having some specific questions about gameply as I continue to learn this game so I'm looking forward to everyone's input. Take it easy.
