Default Possibly one of the strangest movies I have ever seen

I saw The Grudge last night, walking away from the movie, I am pretty conviced this is the most wierd ass/strange/crazy movies that I have ever seen. The creaters of the ring made this movie, perhaps this leads some inside to the strangeness of this film.

There is no way that it can top the Ring. That movie gave me sleep problems.

    Becuase you're a 12 yr old girl?

Ring was lame. There has to be a better strange and freaky movie out there.

    The Grudge was not good.

I think it had something to do with me being in a weird mental state after being up 24 hours and two days with about 5 hours of sleep. I havent watched it since, maybe it would be different now

    You're all fools.

    Fools, I tells ya.

The grudge was not that great, and not that creepy. A Clockwork Orange was a terrific movie and not that creepy.

And Dwarfy, I thought A Clockwork Orange was banned in the UK. You've seen it? Did you get an undergroud copy or did they lift the ban?

Funny thing about the Grudge: Ringu was a Japanese move that everyone loved, and The Ring was the American version of that movie, with everything different but the basis of the story. Grugen (I think) was another movie by the same director of Ringu. And The Grudge was the American version. But the Director of Ringu and Grugen is the director that did The Grudge. He made the same movie twice, and the only difference was the language and the nationality of the main character.

You want creepy, go rent Eraserhead. Audition. Re-Animator.
I don't know what they have to say
    It makes no difference anyway.
    Whatever it is...
    I'm against it.

You were not wierded out by the noises the girl made? Her slithering down the stairs? It was weird enough for me....

True, it was a good film. I've seen it a half dozen times. I like a lot of Stanley Kubricks work.

Full metal Jacket is probably one of my favorite movies.

The ban was lifted a few years ago and some cinemas showed special screenings to celebrate .
Me and the missus watched it on TV about a month ago (either Sky or Channel 4 - I forget which).

It was certainly strange but not creepy.

I'm with Humphrind on this one. Just watch anything by David Lynch, those movies makes you shift between "Oh, I get it" to "Ah, I didn't" . If you wanna have horrible visons burned into your brain, watch "Guinea Pig" - not nice at all.

The Kaufman brothers' "Adaptation" is weird -and- funny.

Well, Son of the Mask looks like it's gearing up to be the Stoooooooooopidest movie ever. Which is weird cause the first one was good.

    Godfather 2 - - - - - - - Dumb and Dumber-er
Fierce Creatures - - - -The Mummy Returns
    Aliens - - - - - - - - - - - Alien vs Predator
    Kill Bill Vol 2 - - - - - - - Hannibal
    Bad Boys 2 - - - - - - - The Lost World
    Meet The Fockers - - - Jaws 2

All these movies are sequals to good movies. Some good, some not so good.

I never expect much from comedy sequals. Especially when they can't get the original star back.

The ring and grudge were WEAK. If you want a scary, disturbing movie that will ruin your night try to find IRREVERSIBLE. Its great. Dont watch it with your girlfriend or parents though. Sick as hell but there actually is a very good plot in there. Then come back and tell me that Ring still makes you pee your pants.
