    Default stealign the blinds and heads up play

    hey guys i play poker about everyweekend and everyweekend i finsh top 2 or 3 out of 10 or so i at least get my money back but i know i could win it all more often i i could steal more blinds and do better head ups cause eerytime i try to steal someone calls and i get screwed do you know any tips

    how do you gusy steal the blinds so that you won't get called?

    Reads + raises + (where applicable) position

    A big part of it is having a feel for what hands are good against only a single opponent. Another big part is having a feel for the opponent. Finally, varying, but strong aggression plays big as well.

    seriously man, you might want to check out some books .. david sklanskys beginner for holdem book is a start, then after that, to specialize in no limit tournaments, pick up dan harringtons on holdem.

    Stealing blinds is a strategy to I use in a passive game where you can take them down on any old crappy hand.. If these guys are going to call you then dont try to steal. If you're really set on making a steal then pay attention to how each player plays, which ones can you sucessfully steal a pot/blinds from? get your self in a more ideal seat at the table then make a steal from there.

    Theres no sense trying to steal from loose agressive player, he'll call you down everytime
