Default A poor player needing advice

I have been playing online for a few months now and I can't seem to become a consistent winner. When I first started playing on UltimateBet I won 50 bucks in the first couple sessions with only a 5 dollar buyin. I was really just hoping to win my bonus I had read a limit book a couple of times but I was playing NL .05-.10 and .10-.25 blinds. After that It was up and down but on average I was losing even with the slowpaying bonus coming in. I moved to the gaming club because i figured i would never win my bonus and the players were too tough at ultimate. I haven't been at the club too long but I have only won more than a dollar once in about 7 sessions. Here is a hand that I was trying to use position and a strong hand to build my stack. Just wanted to know how my strategy is. It has changed since I started. I have been constantly ajusting to the tables. This table was incredibly loose pre-flop. I lost to a bad beat earlier that only got me excited about how bad the players were. But I actually think I'm the bad player.

I am at the big blind with AK unsuited.
6 players have called $.10 including another blind(sat out) and small blind.
I raise $1 due to the weakness of all the limp-ins.
    One player calls.
    The flop is 6s 9s 9d.
I figure there is a good chance that he didn't hit so I raised $2 on a $2.70 pot. I figured he would think I had a big pocket pair. He raises me all-in. It is only 60 cents in a $7 pot so I call. At this point I know that my bluff is sunk and he probably hit the board. He had 6c7c. The turn is a 7h and the river is a 6d giving him a full house.

Did I play this right? Maybe a bluff wasn't a good idea. I don't bluff often. If I do it is either in a good position with a draw or heads up. I feel like everything I'm doing must be wrong because I lose so much. Also, this hand makes me seem like a looser player than I am.

It depends how your table image is at this table and how you view this guy. If you haven't been playing many hands (20%), have been showing down the goods, and haven't been bluffing an obscene amount than I think it's a good play. Also, if this guy is a calling station or thinks you are bluffing it could easily not work. All in all not a bad play, just unfortunate that he hit a pair. With a read or a tight table image this is usually a good play, UNLESS you overdo it.

If you raised PF, then a bet a on a blank flop with a couple of over cards isnt a bad thing at all

Not much you can do here. The only explanation for his pf call was that he was a complete idiot and/or was sure you were bluffing. I'm guessing the former was true, and if so, he's not going to think about a high pocket pair.

Your flop bet was fine, and yes, you had to call his reraise even though you thought you were beat. You were about 25% (6 outs * 2 * (1 for flop + 1 for river) + 1 = 25%) to catch one of your two overs by the river, so you were only losing to a 9 or 66. He's about as likely to be bluffing as have a 9 or 66, so you figure that the .60 gives you easy odds even neglecting your pot equity.
