The turn and the river were disgusting plays. I have no excuses. Betting the flop was bad as well? I was thinking that the worst part of the flop play was not betting the pot...

    Betting the flop was fine.

Once you checked the turn, you quit the hand.

The only way you bet that flop is if you are prepared to fire off a nice size bet on the turn, no matter what hits. You can be certain an over card will fall, and the only way you can win the hand is for it not to be shown down.

I don't like getting involved in hands like this. If you win, you won't win much, and if you lose, you lose with a f'ing Q4. Even if another 4 hits, you can't bet with too much confidence.
