Default Question about UB's 'Bet pot' button

I've been thinking of joining Ultimate Bet to get some cheap SnG practice in. SO i've been in the play games and observing some tournies.

Now I play on stars and saw the 'bet pot' feature in UB which, I thought was quite nifty at first.

However after a lot of observation, I have noticed (especially in tournies) that people often just hit the 'bet pot' button with little or no thought.
I'm assuming they are semi-bluffing/eliminating/stone cold bluffing but the fact that you can throw a huge 'exact' bet constantly annoys me a bit.

On stars people need to take time to throw a sizable bet at you, giving you time to think and possibly get more of a read on them by the size of the raise (people dont always raise pot sized)

Do any of you UB players find this as well? Do you find players who constantly use the bet pot button seem to be bluffing a lot?

This may seem like a strange post but the way people were using it was really bothering me. cheers

Right to the left of you....
I agree, I don't like the bet pot button either. My mouse really sucks and when I was trying to raise the pot with the little slider, it was getting stuck a few times.

I basically could not get the bet I wanted, and was forced to just hit the bet pot button. I wanted a bet about half that size, but o well...

I imagine this does happen lots to rookie players too, whom don't really think about the size of their bets in relation to the current pot. Although, I played a $10 sit n go there last night, and damn was it tight.

After 65 hands, only 1 guy had busted out, and the other nine seemed to only be playing premium hands.

Maybe I am just used to all the Fish at Party, Pacific, and others, but damn those UB players were good.

Why not just type the amount you want to raise? That's what I do on Party...I can't stand the slider.

    Default Bet The Pot Button

I don't like any feature which encourages people to play correct poker.
